The app I am using to create the post header images is 8Bit Photo Lab. I cannot praise this app enough. The thing it does is simple. You take an image and run it through a bunch filters (downsampling) and out comes a pixelated version of it. The new image does not compare to the original. With this app you always create something new.
Before switching to Arch Linux I used Fedora/Gnome. Since then I tried other window manager such as sway or hyprland. But they were to complicate to get running properly.

I received a mail from Patreon with subject “A feed with that cozy, old internet feel”. By default Thunderbird blocks remote content such as images. The irony here is that I was not able to read the mail. So much for the “old internet feel”.
