“Shpongle” sounds like a combination of sponge and angle. But it is neither of those. Shpongle is a psychedelic electronic music project. It exists for over 30 year, however, I only learned about it last year. The people who introduced me to Shpongle told me about it jokingly. I did not understand if I should give it a listen. They claimed that once you listen to Shpongle you cannot unhear it. And they were kinda right.

Their latest album is a remaster of “Codex VI” which originally was released in 2017.

I usually do not listen to psy trance. Some Shpongle is different. I like the chaotic, incoherent, but still rhytmic transitions. I also like when a voice babbles nonesense. My braint tries to make sense of it, but fails miserably. Maybe that is the point of Shpongle.
